Terms of Service

Rates:

Residential Rate-

All residential onsite training and support visits are subject to a minimum one hour charge at $110/hour. Beyond one hour, services are billed in 15 minute increments.

Business Rate-

All business onsite training and support visits are subject to a minimum one hour charge at $130/hour. Beyond one hour, services are billed in 15 minute increments.

Payment and Late Fees:

GoMac Consulting Accepts Cash, Cheques, Visa, Mastercard and Interac E-Transfer. Please make cheques payable to GoMac Consulting. Full payment is due at the end of all sessions to individuals and small businesses. If Client has an accounts payable department, payment is due within 21 calendar days following invoice issuance. Client agrees to pay a $20 late charge if no payment has been received after 21 calendar days following date of invoice, plus 10% monthly compound interest of the unpaid balance if invoice remains unpaid in full after one calendar month.

Missed Appointments:

In the event that a client does not provide 24 hours notice for a cancellation, Client agrees to pay GoMac Consulting one hour’s fee. Same day appointments must be cancelled by phone within two hours following the scheduling of an appointment.

Post-visit support:

GoMac Consulting must be notified of any outstanding issues directly related to consultation within five days. GoMac Consulting will attempt at reasonable effort to address such issues via email for a period of five days following consultation. Further support may require setting up an additional appointment billed at the regular service rates. Defective equipment is serviced through manufacturer unless otherwise specified.

Privacy

We take your privacy very seriously. Please read our Privacy Policy in regards to the collecting of client contact information, payment collection and personal computer data.

Liability:

Though every effort will be used to maintain the integrity of Client computer data, GoMac Consulting and its respective consultants, affiliates and employees will not be held responsible in the event that any physical or data loss and/or damage occurs during the course of service, including during delivery or transfer of equipment. GoMac will use reasonable efforts to perform the services requested by the Client within a reasonable period of time. The Client acknowledges and agrees that the nature of the services may prevent GoMac Consulting from performing the services in a manner that achieves the requested result.

Age Minimum:

An adult must be present at residences or business: For on-site services, a person of at least 18 years of age must be present during the entire time period services are provided. If the GoMac Consulting employee arrives at the scheduled service time and no adult is present, services may be denied and a $110 cancellation charge will be assessed.

Software Licenses and Liabilities :

GoMac Consulting adheres to the software manufacturers’ license requirements and will install software according to those licenses only. Updates, upgrades or other enhancements are provided by the manufacturer and are not the responsibility of GoMac Consulting.

Access:

GoMac Consulting must receive full access to the computer(s) and/or peripheral(s) to be serviced, access to your residence, your consent and cooperation to enter your residence, and a safe working environment, working space and electrical power. If the GoMac crew member arrives at the scheduled service time and determines that he or she does not reasonably have the access, cooperation or safe working area described in the previous sentence, then services may be denied and a $110 cancellation charge will be assessed.

By doing business with GoMac Consulting, you agree to be bound by the terms listed.
